第36回 JDG Topic: 広島、長崎の原爆

Topic: Atomic Bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki - Sat. August 7th

８月は毎年恒例となりつつある第二次世界大戦についての話しをする機会を設けたいと思います。今年は、第一土曜日が８月７日。丁度広島、長崎原爆記念日に挟まれた日となりますので、この世界史上最大の惨事のひとつである広島、長崎原爆投下を、被害者の方々への追悼の想いを込めて行いたいと思います。昨年は、２０名以上の大勢の方々にお集まり頂き好評をいただきましたが、今回はさらに参加者の皆さん全員からお話をいただけるよう少人数で座談会形式のリラックスした雰囲気で行いたいと思います。６５年という長い年月が経ち、世代交代により忘れられつつあるこの戦争の悲惨を、平和の為に今一度話してみようではありませんか。是非ともお時間を作ってお集まり願います。

Here comes the August again and 7th is the day just in between those two A-Bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki during WW-II. It would be a perfect day to commemorate and talk about Atomic Bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. There were more than 20 people joined us last year and created very special time for all of us. At this time, however, we will have a smaller group and provide more time for each one of us to speak up in easier atmosphere. Our memory for A-bomb is fading year after year and War is still around us. It would be a great opportunity to remember and think about this horrific experience of all human race and mourn all the victims. And let's also think about peace. Please make time and join us!
